Betws y Coed

Betws y Coed

Betws-y-Coed

The village of Betws y Coed is a popular destination for visitors coming for walking and biking in North Wales. Located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and with all it has to offer in the way of outdoor activities, it is the natural place to start or to stop off on a biking break in North Wales. It’s close to many of the main mountain biking routes, including the Penmachno Trail and Marin Trail which criss-cross the nearby Gwydyr Forest, and a good starting point for road cycling and exploring the surrounding countryside of Hiraethog and the Conwy Valley and beyond to Llandudno and Conwy on the North Wales coast.

There are plenty of places to stay and places to eat out too, as well as a good supply of bike hire shops and repair shops – everything you need to enjoy a biking break in Conwy.
